La Asociación de Afectados por el Cese de Operaciones de Spanair (Acos) presentará una demanda administrativa para exigir que la Generalitat indemnice a los pasajeros perjudicados por el cierre de la aerolínea.
En un comunicado, el portavoz de la Acos, Cándido Conde-Pumpido Varela, asegura que la Generalitat "es responsable del cierre de la aerolínea porque tenía pleno conocimiento de lo que estaba pasando", por lo que considera que ahora es este organismo el que "debe asumir las responsabilidades".
Además, la Acos solicitará también que se embarguen los bienes de los miembros del consejo de administración de Spanair "por su incumplimiento en la contratación del seguro como por su posible culpabilidad en el concurso de acreedores".
Según las estimaciones de la asociación, los billetes de los 500.000 pasajeros que se quedaron sin volar "pueden representar una deuda de entre 50 y 70 millones de euros" para la aerolínea.
